We are recruiting for an exciting assurance role within our Financial Controls division in Stratford-Upon-Avon, initially for an 18-month fixed term contract.
Sitting within the risk team who support our financial division, we provide the business with assurance over key risks and controls via 1st line risk-based assurance reviews. Providing our input into divisional change programmes and developing control frameworks our team play a critical role in the success of our division.
It’s an exciting time to join NFU Mutual as we invest heavily in modernisation and process improvement projects. There’s a real chance to turn this into something bigger and a permanent role (subject to value-add, performance and headcount).
You’ll develop a risk based “first line” assurance plan which adds value to the business and provides assurance over key risks. As regulation and risks changes regularly, we work pro-actively to plan to ensure our controls are effective. You’ll gain experience developing and implementing a control framework, as well as building your network with our compliance, internal audit and operational risk teams.
This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon. However, we understand how important a positive work-life balance is, so to help you give your best, we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment and support to work up to 50% of your hours from home.
You use your knowledge risk-based auditing and controls frameworks to establish annual assurance plans. With a focus on controls, you will deliver reports, presentations and frameworks as part of our change programme. You’re a qualified audit professional who ideally has experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of FCA regulations.
