About the role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced claims professional to join our Claims Fraud Handling team based in the heart of Bristol City Centre.

As a First Party Handler, you will manage suspicious First Party claims to protect NFU Mutual against attempts of fraud, and ensure customers, third party representatives and agents are kept informed on claims to achieve the best possible outcomes and experiences for customers.

You will inform, coach and feedback information to claims teams and other relevant parties to set standards and raise fraud awareness. Additionally, you will maintain effective relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of outcomes.

We encourage a healthy work/life balance and this opportunity will offer you a 35-hour working week, with shifts falling between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Our hybrid working model also means you can work from the comfort of your own home up to 50% of the time.

About you

The successful candidate will have previous experience of handling suspicious claims and the ability to make effective decisions, ensuring high standards of customer service.

You will have strong problem-solving and investigative skills when it comes to finding solutions to technical issues as well as the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Additionally, you will be used to presenting technical information and will have previously trained and coached others within a team.
