We have an exciting opportunity available within our Head Office Underwriting team in Stratford upon Avon for a dynamic General Insurance underwriting professional with experience of Engineering and Renewables.
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the risk appetite and recommending the underwriting strategy for Engineering Breakdown and Renewable Energy insurance. This will include establishing appropriate rules, terms and risk features that will enable the delivery of profit and growth objectives whilst effectively managing insurance risk in line with the overall underwriting strategy.

The successful candidate will possess strong technical commercial underwriting experience (to include Engineering and Renewables) and will have experience of operating at a more strategic level of underwriting, focussing on areas such as product performance, rules and risk features.
This role will include lots of interaction across different areas of the business, and so it is important that you are able to demonstrate strong stakeholder skills and the ability and confidence to influence and challenge decisions.
