Just over 50 people work with us here in Wholesale Broking and Outplacement Services and, it’s fair to say, our remit is a varied and very important one. We work on an unusually wide range of insurance subject matter, from Complex Casualty to Financial Risk, Marine Hull to Animal Disease.
And as well as supporting our NFU Mutual Agency network and Regional Sales teams in acquiring and retaining customers, we support Head Office Underwriting’s strategic goals, and facilitate and provide the outplacement of large, complex, high-risk Commercial and Specialty Risks for our Agency network through the Composite and London Insurance Markets.
We are a busy team and as such are recruiting an additional head to work in our Complex Corporate Team . Your role will be to work with our agents and branch managers to check and submit, or refer as required, NIS renewal proposals, quotes, automatic renewals, policy documents and mid-term adjustments to ensure they are complete, accurate and meet NIS criteria within fdefined timescales and authority limits.
You will advise Agents, providers and NIS Manager on accounts, cover, process and client risk information to ensure clients have the right cover, providers have full information regarding the risk and there is a smooth process between the Agent, provider and NFUM client.
Process premiums and refunds to Agents’ accounts in accordance with policies and procedures to ensure that our accounting function and premium collections are correct and timely.
And administer claims information Administer claims information to providers on behalf of NFUM clients so that insurers are informed in a timely manner.
It is essential you have significant and recent experience in commercial broking. Including experience in handling Liability, Property, Contractors All Risk, Professional Indemnity and Freight & Marine Cargo
5 GCSEs or equivalent desirable.
