We are currently seeking experienced and dynamic Commercial Underwriters to join our team at our Regional Service Centre in Belfast.
As a Commercial Underwriter, you will be responsible for building and maintaining productive relationships with our network of NFU Mutual agents, delivering first class technical support and assistance on new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments. You will be working on our customer’s Commercial insurance policies across a variety of Commercial business classes.
Depending on your experience, you may work as one of the more senior members of team, dealing with more complex cases as well as supporting and coaching other Commercial Underwriters.
We encourage a healthy work/life balance and this opportunity will offer you a 35-hour working week, with shift patterns falling between 8am and 6pm Monday – Friday, and no weekends! Our hybrid working model also means you can work from the comfort of your own home up to 80% of the time once you are fully up to speed.
We are looking for a customer-orientated and detail-focussed professional who has previous Commercial underwriting experience.
Being a strong team player, you will strive to achieve high quality standards and output, even when challenged and working under pressure. You will be used to always putting the customer first and fully considering their requirements whilst developing lasting relationships.
