We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join our Financial Reporting and Controls team on a fixed term contract. You’ll be part of a supportive team who bring financial expertise, including financial controls, taxation, and reporting, to our UK-wide business.
You’ll be part of a team that produces and controls the production of financial data and financial returns, particularly regulatory and statutory accounts. Following regulatory requirements and our own internal reporting schedule, you’ll provide insight on reporting and controls to a range of stakeholders across NFU Mutual. As regulatory change frequently happens, we have plans in place to ensure our controls are effective. You’ll gain experience of supporting any changes and have ample opportunities to build relationships with regulatory bodies and auditors.
This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon. However, we understand how important a positive work-life balance is, so to help you give your best, we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment and support to work up to 80% of your hours from home.
You proactively use your knowledge of accountancy principles, management accounts, and regulatory/statutory requirements, to deliver accurate reporting and effective controls. With a focus on process improvement and best practice, you’re a financial professional who readily takes ownership of resolving queries and discrepancies. You have the right mix of technical expertise, relationship building and project management to deliver results accurately.
