About the role

We have a new opportunity for a General Insurance Sales Development Change & Governance Consultant. It’s a long job title, so what does this mean? Put simply you will manage, coordinate, and govern department change initiatives in conjunction with department stakeholders to support the GI Sales Development business strategy, and deliver on business objectives, and to ensure associated governance and risk controls are in place.


Working across a range of departments you will be confident in working at pace, still with a keen eye for detail, influencing a range of stakeholders, quite possibly with difference objectives, to deliver an exceptional service in line with the business need. 



  • Design, implement and maintain a department change management framework

  • Co-ordinate change activity across the GISD department

  • Oversee, track and report on the delivery of GISD department change initiatives

  • Design, implement and oversee a quality assurance review process to evidence ongoing compliance with stated processes and controls

  • Facilitate regular change management meetings to ensure that all parties are informed of change initiatives, planning and progress updates.

  • Coordinate the GISD department responses to wider business reviews including Propositions and Underwriting product and policy wording reviews to ensure consistent and timely responses and follow up of subsequent actions.

  • Develop, manage, and execute effective business readiness and communications

  • Support the GISD department functions in the identification and management of any risks or issues arising from the delivery of GISD change

  • Support the GISD T&C System Manager in monitoring GISD T&C system performance and integrations

  • Support in defining and signing off testing requirements for User & Operational acceptance 

About you

You will have experience of delivering change and continuous improvement activity across a multi-disciplined team of specialists with exceptional skills in engaging, influencing, and managing multiple stakeholders at all levels. With strong analytical skills and attention to detail you will possess excellent problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot technical issues.


To be considered it is essential you have experience:



  • From a regulated business (Financial Services, banking, or insurance)

  • Experience in change and project management

  • Knowledge of risk governance frameworks


 Desirable: Prince2 or an agile qualification
