About the role

Due to increased demand, we now have an excellent opportunity for a HR Business Partner to support with various upcoming projects and programmes across the business. This is a fixed term contract concluding at the end of 2021.


Reporting to the HR Change Specialist, you will provide key HR partnering service - playing an integral role in translating the HR strategy at local level. You’ll have the opportunity to influence senior stakeholders, providing commercially intelligent advice and guidance, ultimately making a real impact on our business. Some of your key responsibilities will be to:



  • Champion, initiate and coach people managers to effectively deliver people activities designed to improve the performance and engagement of individuals and teams, develop talent and support the achievement of a Winning Performance Culture and Great Place to Work.

  • Challenge, advise and influence the business change to ensure the people implications are fully assessed, evaluated and managed in line with the Guiding Principles.

  • Interpret, coach and guide people managers in the application of the Group’s people management policies and practices to ensure fair, consistent application in line with policy, legislative requirements, organisational culture and Guiding Principles.

  • Anticipate, identify and act on HR trends, issues and developments so that they can be effectively planned for and managed by People Managers.

  • Support the employee relations activity

What we're looking for

As our HRBP (Projects), you will be a confident HR practitioner, with the ability to operate in a standalone role whilst working hand in hand with the wider HR team. With various streams of change activity across the group at one time, you’ll understand the impact of change and how to manage it effectively. You will be a strong communicator at all levels, easily making relationships throughout the business with key stakeholders, as well as being confident and able to 'push back' when required. You will also be or have: 



  • Experience of working in a similar position at a similar level (essential)

  • CIPD qualification (desirable)

  • Insurance or Financial Services background (desirable)

  • Good Commercial acumen

  • Strong attention to detail, with great organisational skills

  • Have gravitas and strong influencing skills
