We have an exciting opportunity available for an enthusiastic insurance professional to join our Head Office Underwriting team in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Working across all personal line’s products, you will be responsible for analysing customer underwriting strategies and making recommendations to the business around rules and risk features for specific risks. Additionally, you will draft workable rules, process and communications for us by our NFU Mutual Agents and Regional Underwriting teams to ensure consistency in the execution of risk appetite, and to optimise performance of the sales channels. You will also support on some underwriting projects and complex, high value cases which are referred to Head Office by the regions.
This is a great opportunity where you will gain exposure to different areas of the business and be able to use your skills and experience to support and influence NFU Mutual’s underwriting strategy.
You will ideally have previous experience of personal lines underwriting, however this is not an essential. You may have a technical claims background with an understanding of policy wording and underwriting processes, or you may have worked within a broker or MGA with a delegated underwriting authority. Partnered with this experience, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to think about the wider picture with a holistic view.
