We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Architect to work on our Information Architect systems. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, you will actively engage to understand the current data landscape and strategic business priorities. You will produce solutions, oversee their delivery and support growth plans for the Shared Data Platform that are outlined in the corporate Data Strategy. You will also play a key role in supporting the capture of requirements through to design and delivery while contributing to the ongoing definition and development of Data Architecture standards, procedures and life cycles, driving best practices.

An excellent communicator, you will be experienced in document management and Information Architecture. You’re a collaborative team member, with experience of Data Management and Business Intelligence. You’ll have a high degree of personal motivation and resilience to overcome setbacks with the ability to work in high pressure environments including ability to resolve complex issues and incidents in a timely manner.

• A strong element of creativity to shape innovative solutions combined with architectural design experience in order to develop a workable solution


• The ability to speak confidently on technical subjects with limited preparation commanding respect and authority


• Ability to identify and control both technical and project/commercial risks and facilitate issue resolution, liaising with the Senior Architect, Project or Delivery Managers within our own or client organisations as appropriate


• Experience of working as part of a project to deliver to target timelines, within budget and to achieve quality targets


• Motivated and willing to develop required skills and experience to be able to operate independently


• Experience of tool / product evaluation and selection to support solutions architecture


• Highly skilled in SQL
