About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Recruitment team on a fixed term contract to source candidates for self-employed Agent opportunities in the NFU Mutual Agency Network.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist your objective is to proactively source candidates through various recruitment sourcing tools, channels and networking, with a goal to find the very best talent for our Agency Network. You will target and engage with finance and insurance professionals within set regions in the UK to promote the self-employed Agent opportunities. 

This candidate focused role gives you the opportunity to develop your search and selection and headhunting skills. You’ll also be involved in market mapping and will support the Senior Resourcing Consultants with monthly reports on recruitment activity. Your responsibilities include: 

  • Writing job adverts and ensuring maximum impact of talent attraction.

  • Engaging with prospective candidates to highlight the benefits of the Agent role.

  • Using social media channels to build a strong presence for the NFU Mutual Agency Network.

  • Ensuring a first-class candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

  • Utilising multiple channels to source and attract the best talent.

  • Creating an effective talent pool.

What we're looking for

A confident communicator, you have recruitment sourcing and headhunting experience, ideally with candidates from a finance or insurance background. You have excellent relationship building skills and a real passion for delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. You are: 

  • A self-motivated team player who works proactively to drive down recruitment costs.

  • Keen to use recruitment tools that maximise efficiency and maintain data integrity.

  • Ready to become a champion of our Employer Brand and self-employed Agent proposition.

  • Confident in stakeholder engagement with candidates and colleagues at all levels.

  • Able to work autonomously in a regulated environment.
