We now have a great opportunity for experienced Consultant to join the Change Programme Team in Learning & Organisational Development as an L&OD Consultant, on a 12 month FTC.

Currently we are working on several strategic change programmes, each of which benefits from comprehensive and agile L&OD consultancy. Reporting to the Change Programme Consultancy Manager, you will work on Portfolio Programmes and Projects, helping to deliver strategically important change in the business. As a L&OD Consultant you will conduct learning needs analysis, consult and advise on a learning and organisational development approach, resource and oversee the design, development and deployment of learning solutions. Finally, you will evaluate the impact and benefit of the solutions implemented.
You must be within a commutable distance to our Stratford Upon Avon office in order to be able to immerse yourself in the fast-paced programme activity. Some key accountabilities will include:

• Provide a learning consultancy service to Group Portfolio Projects and Programmes to identify and agree learning and development requirements in support of effective delivery of Project/Programme objectives


• Plan, initiate and monitor the analysis, design, delivery and evaluation of learning solutions that effectively meet business deliverables, timescales and agreed learning and development objectives whilst managing convergent risk and maximising organisational learning


• Engage and manage external supplier delivery on relevant learning solutions (where applicable)


• Evaluate the impact and benefit of the solutions implemented.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with Project/Programme stakeholders


• Collaborate with Internal Communications, Change Management, L&OD and HR colleagues to ensure the effective delivery and promotion of L&OD services


• Promote, champion and influence people initiatives in conjunction with HR to ensure the business have the skills, knowledge and support required to implement and utilise them effectively


• Design, deliver and coordinate ad hoc learning solutions as required to meet agreed Group Portfolio Project and Programme needs


• Deliver one-off projects and activities as required by and to the standards and outcomes agreed with Line Manager

As one of our L&OD Consultants, you will use your strong consultation skills to create a Learning Needs Analysis and define a compelling L&OD Approach - that is aligned with L&OD strategy and wider business requirements. You will have strong initiative, communication skills and business insight - being able to build relationships at all levels and be effective. You will also be or have:

• Certificate in Learning and Development (CIPD or equivalent, preferred)


• Qualification in change management and / or project management (preferred)


• Degree or equivalent professional qualification (preferred)


• Experience of working on change programmes or projects (preferred)


• Proven ability to build strong, influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including those at a senior level


• Commercial Awareness


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to create Learning Needs Analysis, Learning Approach and delivery plans in partnership with SME’s


• Experience of quantifying, securing and managing budgets effectively


• Experience of identifying, evaluating and reporting on benefits


• Experience of working with a variety of business areas would be advantageous


• Experience of working with external learning suppliers would be preferable
