MI Analyst – General Insurance T&C


£37,000 - £42,000 up to 17.5% bonus


12 month – Fixed Term Contract


Stratford Upon Avon – but with the ability to work 50% of the time from home 


 


NFU Mutual are looking for an exceptional MI Analyst to join our Business on a Fixed Term 12-month basis.  Analysis is at the heart of our success, supporting teams across the NFU Mutual group and delivering insights that improve and shape the business.

Join us and you will be supporting key stakeholders across our General Insurance T&C Function, giving them the key information they need. When they need it.  You might be supporting the development of future operational plans or helping to ensure we continue to deliver first-class customer service.


In this MI Analyst role, you will be an expert at Creating Dashboards and Management reports that enable Sales and Agency to track and control known Risks. Providing focus and guidance on performance v appetite alongside an evaluation of the effectiveness of Risk Management / mitigating actions.


Through the use of MI and Data Analysis you will provide critical support to the provision of a Risk Based Approach to T&C. Evidencing delivery against agreed standards and outcomes. Highlight T&C risks and any variance to Risk Appetite.


More than this though, you will also build effective and long lasting relationships with key stakeholders across the business to identify, evaluate and deliver on MI needs that help to aid effective business decisions.

What we’re looking for


  • Experience of being a user in software analytical and reporting tools, such as Excel (macros and pivot table level); SQL; Power BI

  • Experience of establishing effective relationships and influencing senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to explain complex management information in written and verbal form to non-technical and business users

  • Proven experience in a similar data analysis/MI analyst role

  • High level of numeracy and strong analytical skills including database management

  • Previous experience of undertaking data profiling exercises to identify data opportunities and risks

  • Ability to creatively deliver resolutions to data driven queries or requests

  • A track record of effectively demonstrating the measurement and impact of programme and business KPI’s

  • Experience of working successfully as a team player

  • Able to prioritise own workload within tight deadlines.

NFU Mutual are happy to offer its employees informal homeworking. Our team is located in Stratford-upon-Avon, and it would be expected that on average, 50% of your working time would be located from this office with the remaining days home based should you wish.


Due to COVID-19, our employees continue to work from home and a return to the office is being planned for later in the year.
