Apply nowWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior leader of people to become a National Commercial Underwriting Delivery Manager. This role will head Commercial Departments of c.200 employees. The successful candidate will develop and embed operational and technical best practice standards across regional activity ensuring delivery of underwriting, operational excellence and compliance in line with our regulatory responsibilities.
You will be able to demonstrate extensive senior leadership and management experience in Financial Services where your experience of manging operational teams will have given you a solid grounding to set the teams direction. Throughout your experience you will be able to demonstrate how you engage your teams to deliver an excellent customer experience. Your commercial acumen will enable you to review processes and policies in line with industry best practice, making sound judgements whilst operating within the necessary regulatory frameworks. Your experience will demonstrate a proven track record of establishing effective relationships with stakeholders and the ability to lead organisational change. Ideally experience of managing or at least exposure to general insurance underwriting teams would be beneficial.
