Following substantial investment in technology and with the contribution of a 70 strong team with a diverse skill set, the department is shaping to be a cutting-edge hub of expertise with ambitious growth plans.
We now have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced professional to join our team as a Design and Deployment Senior Developer. As part of the role, you will work closely with the different Pricing and IT teams to design, develop, test and deploy new rating algorithms for our rating engine software (Radar). You will ensure best practice is maintained by assessing the customer fairness of pricing and finding robust solutions to coding challenges.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the line management and workflow management of a number of Analysts.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile professional who has coding experience within a pricing department or a software development area, with an ability to interact and influence a variety of stakeholders.
You will ideally have a knowledge of General Insurance, however this is not essential and we will give consideration to candidates from all industries. It would also be beneficial if you have experience using Radar and of leading software development teams, but again, this is not essential.
At NFU Mutual we continue to work remotely, when we do return to the office we will be working with a balance between home and office working.
