Due to substantial growth we are looking for two additional Product Managers (known internally as Supply Chain Managers) within our Wholesale Broking and Outplacement Services department called National Intermediary Services. As a team, our goal is simple - we help our 300 office Agency Network to win and retain more customers by broking into the wider insurance market to support a specific need in their insurance programme. In the past 5 years the department has grown by over 300% and today we are a team of 60 which will continue to grow. You could play a key part of the growth and development!
As a Supply Chain Manager you will lead, manage and direct the selection of non-NFU Mutual products and services obtained from the insurance market to enhance our offering to our customers. You will manage the insurance market through effective influential relationships and determine the solution, strategy, process and ensure its long-term sustainability. You will implement impartial selection of new insurance partners and ensure we have a market leading supply chain panel that consistently delivers and supports the NIS strategy. You will source and lead the implementation of efficient product delivery through the use of electronic trading portals where appropriate.
You will oversee the service delivery of products and services ensuring they meet the needs of customers. You will review and report on the conversion, retention and pricing performance to ensure they meet agreed targets. You will also be responsible for the development of the product to ensure market leading offering to our customers.
You will maintain effective and influential relationships with head office colleagues and other key stakeholders, and lead as subject matter expert providing market releases, insights, reference material and training on the product.
It is essential you have significant trading experience either within an insurer or large broker in a market facing trading role.
You will have strong knowledge of the general commercial insurance market with good technical understanding of Cyber combined with experience of establishing, managing and reviewing general insurance partnerships to maximise growth and profitability.
You will need to demonstrable negotiation and influencing skills alongside a proven track record of delivering results in a targeted insurance regulatory environment.
