We have an exciting opportunity within our existing Propositions team for an experienced Propositions Consultant to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract. In many ways our Propositions team acts as the voice of the customer, our talented people develop, enhance and manage product propositions to ensure that we’re effectively identifying and meeting the needs of our target customers - and, in turn, that we’re helping NFU Mutual to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
Sitting within the wider Strategy and Marketing division, the main purpose of this role is to lead on the evaluation and review of the range of Farming and Commercial products offered by NFU Mutual. In order to successfully meet customer needs within one or more defined markets and to meet agreed targets and KPIs for the business.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference to the wider business and play a key part in the continuous improvement of NFU Mutual. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, analysing and monitoring the relevant product propositions to identify the competitive landscape and changing customer needs to help ensure our propositions remain relevant and competitive. You will be contributing to our proposition plans based on market, proposition, and segment analysis, as well as develop, advise, and guide colleagues from across the business to enhance their understanding of the relevant product and how they should be positioned with customers and against the competition.
The successful individual must have a proven background within proposition/product management and development with a strong understanding of the external market and customer needs in order to refine and develop our offerings. You must be data minded with the ability to interpret and report on data findings. Strong stakeholder management and relationship building is key as is the ability to influence at all levels. The successful candidate must be a proven multitasker with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and projects at once.
