About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Resourcing Business Partner to join the NFU Mutual Resourcing Team on a 12-month fixed term contract due to an internal promotion within the existing team.

Reporting to the Head of Resourcing this pivotal role will see you working in partnership with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders within some of our key corporate, Head Office functions such as HR, IT and Strategy and Marketing.

As brand ambassador for these division, you’ll be instrumental in coaching and guiding people managers in Recruitment activities, policies and practices, you’ll help improve customer and candidate engagement. You’ll also identify and communicate Resourcing trends, issues and developments to your stakeholders.

Working collaboratively with divisional business stakeholders and the Resourcing Delivery Manager you’ll design and articulate achievable resourcing plans to meet current and future needs. You’ll also work in partnership with our Talent Attraction Specialist to shape and implement innovative attraction campaigns across a diverse range of roles and opportunities.

You’ll be supported by a team of Recruiters, who deliver and manage the end-to-end vacancies in your business divisions. Through your strategic relationships, your role adds value to the Recruiters by translating future resource demand to help them talentpool; lead on change related activities impacting recruitment and act as point of escalation / change agent on complex or senior level stakeholder challenges.

This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon. We understand how important a positive work-life balance is to you, so we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment, and support to work up to 80% of your hours from home.

About you

An experienced Resourcing Business Partner, ideally with a background in Financial Services, you’ll bring your knowledge, expertise of Resourcing best practice. You understand how a collaborative, innovative and empowering approach can influence change and engage others. As a strong written and verbal communicator, you easily adapt your style to various audiences.

You proactively build trusted relationships, showcase excellent stakeholder management skills, and instinctively know when to challenge or act with diplomacy. You enjoy being part of a dynamic, forward thinking and engaged team.  To join our team, you must also have:

  • Excellent stakeholder management with demonstrable experience of relationship building at all levels

  • Significant experience working as a Senior Resourcing Specialist/Business Partner within the Financial Services Sector

  • Demonstrable experience of managing Senior level complex vacancies across all organisational levels

  • Experience with deploying a range of innovative talent attraction methods and strategies for a challenging skill market.

  • Proven experience of working in partnership with senior managers to influence and advise on all aspects of recruitment

  • Experience and knowledge of talent management processes and best practice

  • Experience of supplier relationship management such as external recruitment agencies
