About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity to be part of something forward looking and impactful; we are looking to recruit a Risk Analyst to focus specifically on delivering NFU Mutual’s climate change strategy and objectives, improving our ability to respond to risks from climate change and supporting the delivery of our Net Zero Roadmap. Our Risk Director is responsible for NFU Mutual’s climate change strategy and the Risk Division is leading its implementation, meaning the successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering the strategy.

Our Risk team work right across NFU Mutual to influence business strategy and objectives by supporting the business in making informed, risk-based decisions and interpreting a full range of regulatory and legislative expectations. Join us and you’ll contribute to our business success by ensuring all types of risks from climate change are identified, assessed, managed, monitored and reported effectively and NFU Mutual meets regulatory and legislative expectations.

The successful candidate will be part of a small team, working closely with internal stakeholders from all areas of the business to understand their risks around climate change. You will use the information gathered alongside market research to pull together reports to understand where the risks are coming from. You’ll use your communication skills to help educate the business on the risks of climate change. You’ll support your team with coordination tasks through mailbox and shared folders.
