Our Group Operational Risk team work right across NFU Mutual to support business objectives implementing and maintaining the Group Risk Management Framework to ensure risks are identified, assessed, managed and monitored, and by providing assurance to the Risk Director and risk governance committees that risks are being effectively managing and changes to risk exposure are acted upon appropriately. The team help to deliver customer benefits by interpreting a full range of regulatory rules to support the business in making informed, risk-based decisions.
We are recruiting for an experienced Risk Consultant to join our newly restructured team who are focused on continuously improving our operational risk offering to the business. You will be part of something fresh and will have the opportunity to work on forward-thinking projects to develop our risk maturity.
Partnering with the business, you will ensure effective risk management and governance within the NFU Mutual Group by implementing, promoting and supporting the Group Risk Management Framework and strategies to highlight the risks and recommend improvements to stakeholders. Championing best practice and continuity, you will influence, challenge and advise the business on Group wide risks. You will collate and analyse a wealth of data and management information and deliver informal and formal reporting and thematic reviews to all levels of stakeholders. You will support the effective use of Xactium Risk Management System for recording and reporting risk and risk event information across the Group. This is an exciting role within the Risk Division where tailored development opportunities and well-being are recognised as key to our success.
You will have significant experience within a similar operational risk role and can showcase this. You must be data minded and have experience of analysing and reporting complex data from a variety of sources to support conversations with stakeholders across all levels of the business. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build and develop key business relationships are essential.
