Due to genuine growth, we have an opportunity for a Senior Resourcing Consultant to join our Recruitment team at NFU Mutual. You’ll play a pivotal role, acting as an industry expert and managing a team of 3-5 Recruiters, offering a valued service to our award-winning UK-wide business. 


You’ll be aligned to a Division within our specialist Corporate functions, building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Using your expert knowledge and experience, you’ll be managing end-to-end recruitment processes that attracts the best talent to NFU Mutual; from leading the vacancy briefings and attraction campaigns, to managing candidates through the job offer and onboarding processes. You’ll have all the tools you need to promote our employer brand and engage with the best talent. As an experienced Resourcing professional, you’ll provide leadership, development and specialist advice to your small team of recruiters on supplying key hires to their assigned Divisions. You’ll also take a lead role in continuous improvement projects to evolve our service and proposition to ensure we remain an employer of choice.

This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon. About you

You’re a senior resourcing professional with demonstrable experience of recruiting great talent and providing first class service to hiring managers and candidates alike. You have proven people management skills and can successfully lead, develop and mentor a team to perform at their best and deliver together. You also have experience of creating attraction and recruitment campaigns, and work collaboratively with the wider team to successfully deliver them. To join our team, you’ll also have:



  • The resilience and capacity to deliver and uphold standards under pressure, whilst driving team performance against KPIs.

  • Proven stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence a change of direction or a new approach at all levels.

  • In-depth experience and knowledge of direct sourcing methodologies, industry benchmarks and market leading attraction strategies, including search and market mapping.

  • A thorough understanding of recruitment and selection legislation and the ability to guide and advise both the team and stakeholders accordingly.

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment, using best practice and in line with company recruitment and selection policies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to a variety of audiences.
