About the role

Manage the GI Sales Quality Specialist team. Oversight and monitoring of the quality of Sellers and Supervisors within the GI T&C scheme for the Agency Network and field management, and the identification and management of sales quality risks and issues. Design and implement effective tools and oversight to ensure the scheme remains up to date, fits the business in line with the long-term objectives and meeting regulatory requirements.


 



  • Lead, manage and motivate direct reports within the team of Sales Quality Specialists and Customer Quality Assurance Technicians so that they are able to deliver objectives and realise their potential

  • Define, agree and continuously review the standards required for sellers and supervisors within the Agency Network. Review, analyse and report on the quality of sales supervision and sales made, to independently verify that the quality assessment standards are met in line with T&C requirements.

  • Act as an independent assessor. Review, report and make recommendations regarding the initial and on-going individual competence of the Quality Development Consultants to the appropriate Line Manager in order to meet the T&C scheme requirements.

  • Proactively analyse, review and report on sales quality risks, issues and trends, within the Agency Network and collaborate with other key stakeholders to influence and support the shaping of national development solutions or risk mitigation action, to ensure customers and NFU’s reputation is protected.

  • To own and maintain appropriate assessment tools for Supervisors. Review both the forms and the outcomes they produce periodically to make sure they are identifying the right outcomes for the business and meet regulatory requirements.

  • To develop and implement best practice interventions to promote and address known issues or emerging risks, in order to improve customer outcomes.

  • Define, plan and implement bespoke quality sales assurance checks, to address known sales risks or issues, and identify the business impact and take appropriate corrective action to address or mitigate in order to minimise cost or reputational damage.

  • Build and maintain relationships with regional Quality Development Consultants, Field Management, other teams in GI Sales Development, Customer Service Operations Department and relevant sections of Learning & Organisational Development to improve customer experience.

  • To act as a Locum Quality Development Consultant as required.

  • Deliver short term / one-off projects and activities as required by and to the standards and outcomes agreed with Line Manager.


 

About You

You will be an experienced Insurance professional, who has a deep understanding of sales processes or defining and adhering to quality standards.  Additionally, you will be a strong people manager with a track record of team development.

NFU Mutual are happy to offer its employees informal homeworking. Our team is located in Stratford-upon-Avon and it would be expected that on average, 50% of your working time would be located from this office with the remaining days home based should you wish.
