About the role

As part of the Compliance Function, you’ll support the business in ensuring that they adhere to applicable regulatory requirements.  We work with teams across NFU Mutual and your strong customer focus will enable you to develop your network, becoming an expert on regulatory compliance and understanding how it relates to the Group. 


Your key stakeholders will include the Board, Executive Team and other senior managers, where you’ll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with them, helping them to understand and comply with their regulatory responsibilities.  You will also help to manage the relationship with one of our financial services regulators – the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA).


Using your skills and experience in risk management, you will be responsible for identifying and highlighting risks and influencing the relevant stakeholders to accept your recommendations for improvements. You will also keep abreast of regulatory change and support the business in ensuring it meets any new requirements.

About you

We are seeking a Prudential Compliance Consultant with exceptional organizational skills, effective communication abilities, keen analytical prowess, and a talent for stakeholder engagement and influence. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements, coupled with the ability to interpret complex regulations effectively and summarising key elements in an engaging manner to non-technical audiences.

To join our team, you’ll also have: 



  • Experience of working within the Financial Services industry.

  • Demonstrable risk management and / or compliance experience.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and proficiency in formal report writing.

  • Digital literacy skills to effectively operate in your role.

  • Experience of influencing different stakeholders at various levels of seniority.
