Our sales team work closely with our Agency Network to drive quality sales and give customers the best products and service. It is made up of a small Head Office team, regional teams around the UK and a corporate team servicing our larger customers and brokers, as well as the governance and oversight of our sales and servicing business. Join us and you’ll discover a supportive team ethic that delivers great results for agencies and their customers.

You never know what a day in Regional Sales will bring, from dealing with someone who’s been bitten by a crocodile to hosting royalty at an agricultural show!
Our key teams
Corporate Insurance Sales
In this team we deal with NFU Mutual’s highest value customers - businesses with policies ranging from £75,000 to over £11 million. They include plenty of household names in the food and drink, and retail sectors.
Join us and you’ll be regularly visiting these customers to build strong working relationships and deliver our award-winning customer service. And you’ll be working closely together with our underwriting and claims teams to produce insurance solutions that are tailored to your customers’ needs.
High Net Worth Sales
NFU Mutual Bespoke is our home insurance product, designed to meet the needs of High Net Worth customers. Join this team and you’ll work closely with an agency and their local community to generate leads, increase brand awareness and win new business from High Net Worth customers.
Then you’ll pass the account over for the agency to service. It’s about building a strong agency relationship, using their local contacts and building your own, and developing and converting leads to drive sales.
Our Agency Network on the UK’s high streets is the face of NFU Mutual in local communities. And it plays a key role in helping us to regularly be named Which? magazine’s Top Insurer. That’s why our Regional Sales teams are so vital.

Karen Jones, Governance and Controls Manager
Since I joined in 2002, I’ve worked with a fantastic supportive, fun team and NFU Mutual has supported the completion of my ACII and helped me gain ACII Chartered Insurer status. One of the things that makes NFU Mutual a great place to work is a culture that supports you personally as well as professionally.
For example, when I was pregnant in 2017, a routine midwife check-up meant I had to start my maternity leave immediately. My manager just said it was fine, to turn my phone and laptop off and focus on me and my baby. He sorted everything out with HR – and thankfully, my son arrived safe and well.
Ben Collins, Sales Development Manager
I worked in one of NFU Mutual’s agencies from 2012 to 2014 before joining the sales team. Then in 2015, I was promoted to a managerial role. The focus on high performance and fulfilling your potential here, both individually and collectively, is fantastic.
The business offers you the support and development to have an enjoyable career. They supported me with external coaching, courses and mentoring, as well as helping me to gain my professional qualifications through the Chartered Insurance Institute. I joined NFU Mutual back in the early 1980s and even then, it was a well-regarded employer who encouraged personal and professional development. Over the years, the business has invested in me through industry qualifications and various leadership programmes, including Warwick Business School.
Everyone supports your personal and professional development, from your peers to line managers. Being actively encouraged to apply for a new role at the age of 55 was a big boost for my confidence. I started it during the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020 and it’s linked to supporting the recent restructure, so everything’s a new and interesting challenge!
