We are currently seeking a skilled Risk Analyst to join our Data Protection, Information Security, Supplier Assurance and Business Continuity (DISC) team. You’ll have responsibility for a variety of tasks focused on ensuring NFU Mutual purchase and manage an appropriate insurance programme.
You’ll manage the day-to-day activities and be the first point of contact to the business for queries, advice and claims. You will play a crucial part in collating, analysing, monitoring, and reporting data and management information to inform business decision making to ensure we are maintaining an insurance programme that balances risk and value for money.
As a Risk Analyst you will gain a good understanding of insurance products particularly those that we purchase, and the risks of the business to provide assurance or identify gaps and recommend solutions. You will develop and maintain an understanding of the market in terms of claims experience, new products available and market conditions through your relationships within the business and with our external network.
As part of a small team you will be involved in all aspects of what the team does including; the collation and analysis of data for insurers, creating and delivering presentations to senior management, interpreting and explaining complicated policy wording and oversight of other business areas who purchase insurance products.
You will take ownership of specific tasks and contribute to the overall deliverables and priorities of the team as well as identifying and recommending project work. You’ll develop your operational risk knowledge and be able to support business change and procurement projects from an operational risk perspective with particular emphasis on indemnities and insurances.
